Day 1: Take a Walk Outside
Why It Matters: Spending time outdoors can boost your mood, improve focus, and even lower blood pressure.
Activity:
- Take a 20-minute walk around your neighborhood, a local park, or a scenic trail.
- Use your walk to observe five things you see, hear, and feel. For example, notice the rustling leaves, birds chirping, or the cool breeze on your skin.
Fun Twist: Bring along a friend or pet, or create a photo journal of the beautiful things you spot during your walk.

Day 2: Take a Break from Social Media

Fun Twist: Make a game out of it! See who in your family or friend group can go the longest without checking their phone.

Day 3: Write Down Your Strengths

- Take 10 minutes to list five things you love about yourself.

Fun Twist: Create a vision board or use colorful sticky notes to display your strengths where you can see them daily.

Day 4: Practice Mindful Breathing
Why It Matters: Mindful breathing reduces anxiety, enhances relaxation, and improves your ability to focus.
Activity:
- Try the 4-7-8 breathing method: Inhale for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 seconds, and exhale for 8 seconds.
- Do this for five minutes.
Fun Twist: Pair your breathing with music or sounds from nature. You can find relaxing playlists or soundscapes on YouTube or Spotify.
Try This: Incorporate mindful breathing while doing a simple task, like washing dishes or waiting in line.
